Optimized Exterior Elements
The 2021 Ford F-150 has an updated headlamp design, new power dome hood and wrap-around bumpers. A stronger, more powerful stance is brought about both on- and off-road thanks to its higher front fenders, tucked-in midsection, and larger-diameter tires (which are also pulled out three quarters of an inch).
Eleven Grille Options
Across the series lineup, eleven grille options are available. Ford promises that, while each grille is differentiated in its design, they all remain unmistakably F-150. The model also boasts new tailgate appliques.
Functional Upgrades
Functional upgrades on the 2021 Ford F-150 include available LED headlamps and taillamps, along with available full-length extended power running boards with kick switch. These last elements also provide better truck-side cargo box accessibility.
Extreme Aerodynamism
The 2021 Ford F-150 is the most aerodynamic iteration of the model ever. It enjoys new active new grille shutters, a new automatically deploying active air dam, and new cab and tailgate geometry. All of these elements work in tandem to reduce drag and improve fuel consumption.
